Eternal Flame
In the dark on the night of Ashura, Imam Hussain (A) gave the opportunity to his companions to leave - telling them that the enemy only wanted him, that they were the best of the companions and they could leave without any guilt. He asked Abbas to turn out the candle, so that those who wanted to leave could do so discreetly. Only a few left, and those that stayed behind became part of the eternal flame of Hussain that lights our path today and forever.
This design - Eternal Flame - commemorates that evening and what those companions stood for with the chant and prayer, we will never leave you O Hussain!
