The Journey
On 28th Rajab, 60 AH, Imam Hussain (A) left his home in Madinah. He would never return!
He first travelled South to Makkah - and stayed there for a few months before being forced to leave on Zilhajj 8, 60 AH, changing his Hajj to Umrah to maintain the sanctity of the Holy Kaa'ba. He then headed North West with the intention of going to Kufa, but ultimately being blocked and diverted to Karbala. Karbala was the 14th and final stop in this fateful journey after Makkah.
This design creatively superimposes Imam Hussain's (A) name as the route of The Journey that he took - highlighting the name of the place and date of all the stops he made.
